This has been a challenging year for all of us, but think about how much we have changed from this same time last year. I am proud of the work we have all done to publish BOI Magazine. My hat goes off to Mike, our Publisher, for landing BOI as the "official" publication for several community events and to Freddie and Michael for diligently covering for me when I was not there on short notice. I also want to thank all the contributors, distributors, advertisers and of course you, the readers.

In 2008 BOI will be making some very visual changes with the magazine and our visibility. As we begin our 7th year as Chicago
My wish for the New Year is that we all make our dreams come true as we bud and blossom into uncharted territory. Make the best of every day. Pass on something good, whether it is a nod hello or a shoulder to cry on, life will be good. I wish that we all come out on top and are all faced with "win-win" situations.

I look forward to the New Year and all it will hold. To everyone, may you all receive the Peace that is inherently yours.
