As the world commemorates
the 50th anniversary of Sputnik -- the first artificial satellite
to be shot into space -- we're reminded of mankind's longtime
fascination with space. Yet, even with the superb advancements
in both technology and science over the five decades, there is
still much to learn and discoverFrom the mysteries of our own
solar system to the questions that surround unexplored galaxies,
the wonders of space come alive in the epic documentary miniseries,
THE UNIVERSE. Ambitious and ground-breaking, this November, home
audiences will be able to unlock the mysteries of the infinite
with THE HISTORY CHANNEL PRESENTS®: THE UNIVERSE.
On November 27, I Know Who Killed Me will make its way onto Blu-ray High-Def
and DVD from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment. This terrifying
thriller stars Lindsay Lohan (Mean Girls) as an amnesic victim
of a sadistic crime, Julia Ormond (Legends of the Fall) as Lohan's
loving mother and Neal McDonough (Minority Report, Flags of Our
Fathers) as the father with a secret to hide. Both Blu-ray Disc
and DVD will include alternate opening and ending scenes, an
extended dance sequence and a blooper reel.
Taking Chances
is the artist's debut album on Columbia Records and first full-length
new studio work since 2003's multi-platinum One Heart. The album
also marks Celine's first new recordings since 2004 when she
released A New Day: Live In Vegas,
a document of her long-running record-breaking Las Vegas extravaganza,
and Miracle, the CD "soundtrack" for a book of photographs
by Anne Geddes celebrating babies and motherhood.
As she completes
an astounding sold-out five-year run -- during which she's sold
more than three million tickets -- of her Las Vegas show, "A
New Day," in December 2007, Celine Dion sets out in bold
new creative directions with Taking Chances, perhaps the most
personal and revelatory collection of songs and performances
in her fabled career.
