When did you first start DJing?
I started DJ when I was in my teens. My best friend growing up got a mixer and turntable for Christmas and I used it more than he did.

Which DJ influenced you the most in your early development?
A DJ named Mario Trembley. I grew up in Montreal and he did radio sets way back in the early 80's direct from the club that he spun at called THE PYRAMID. The club was actually shaped like a pyramid and inside was a catacomb of halls and stairs that led to the dance floor. One of the most unique clubs I've ever been in!

How would you describe your current DJing style?
Progressive Hi NRG Tribal with just enough vocals!!! I love to listen to my older stuff and see how much I've evolved. Its not something Im conscious of, but to see where I am today as to where I started is quite a difference. I was quite tame with my early house beginnings compared to now with my in your face, Big-Room floor filler stompers!

What about you as a DJ separates you from other Circuit-styled DJs?
I don't see myself as a DJ! Never have. I am just someone else in a club who has a deep passion for music. I go out whenever I can and experience the same music else is, that keeps me in touch with what everyone is feeling and I don't go off on some weird journey by myself. I like to have experiences with shared by everyone!!!

Which artists and/or remixers have you really been vibing with during the past 12-18 months?
I've had the pleasure of playing with Offer Nissem when I played in Tel Aviv Israel His music is hot. I also love D. Ramirez, Superchumbo (Tom Stephane), Peter Rauhofer.

You've DJed in Chicago on several occasions. What, if any, stylistic aDJustments do you make when you spin here?
I've never made any aDJustments to my music. After all, if I've been asked back, its because of what I do with music initially. I do however if it's my first time somewhere, I usually ask the promoter or bartenders what the crowd is used to, and find a mid point to start at in order to get them going and just dump music irately at them. It would be kinda like playing your very first song of the night when just a few people have arrived and your already playing peak hour anthems! You gotta give 'em just enough to chew and swallow at a time!

Which 3 records/tracks are with you the majority, or all, of the time when you go to a gig?
1. DREAMER by Living Joy - I never leave home without it! Its instant gratification on the dancefloor!
2. SATISFIED by H20- CLASSIC Hi NRG floorfiller - One of the hardest records I ever had to find,
3. EL RITMO by Lowpass - It has the perfect combination of Hi NrG and Dark Tribal!

What has been the highlight DJing moment of your career?
That would be The LEATHER BALL at Black & BLUE in Montreal and SOAKIN WET outside on the pier in New York. The crowd may have been blow away by the music, but I was blown away by the crowd. I gave them the energy, they gave it right back to me! That's what I love!

What's the one club and/or party that you've never spun at, but is #1 on your wishlist?
There are two, ROXY here in NYC and SPACE in Miami.

How did the development of your new mixed CD on Centaur come about and what's your favorite track from the CD?
First of all, my favorite track on the CD is SEARCHING by Offer Nissem. Im such the romantic, and I could dedicate an entire interview on finding the love of my life, sometimes I think Im in love with LOVE! Im single so any song that has to do with THE ONE, get my attention! Centaur actually approached me with doing this commemorative CD to celebrate the anniversary of Centaur. I was very much honored that I was asked to do it. Everyone from Tony Moran to Manny Lehman, who are directly responsible for me being a DJ, have lent their talents to Centaur. I wanted everyone to be happy, and you know how hard it is to please everyone at the same time. so I put a little taste of everything for everyone in 3 stages. Catchy vocal house, then tribal house and on to progressive tribal! This for me was basically to showcase that I can go from Early Softcore House to Hard Progressive Tribal in any given situation. Weather it be a house party, a party outdoors on a pier, a huge Canadian Leather party or Circuit Party with 10,000 screaming faggots! Im there for ya baby! I gotcha covered!!!

The Centaur web site says that Chicago's own Circuit Mom is your manager. How did this relationship develop and what exactly is he managing?
Circuit Mom is the ULTIMATE manager. He has eon's of experience with everything and everyone. He knows his shit better than someone trying to run a country! Hint hint! He had mentioned to me he was toying with the idea, and when the opportunity arose, I called him to set the wheels in motion. He books and makes sure all is set for me pertaining to appearances, along with my publicist Len Evans from Project Publicity and Jamie Baxter from Centaur so that I wont have to deal with the sometimes fickle and more often flakes that are out there. He works so hard at what he does just to make sure I wont be left standing in the rain, and this is not even he main job, he still has a day job, God bless his soul!!
