On the music front, DJ Irene has come from rags to riches. Her turbo fueled CD entitled "Rockstar" is packed full of energy. This energy comes from a troubled past. It is hard to believe that this DJ that rules the west coast, not long ago was homeless. DJ Irene's bookings have included the official Grammy after party and you can hear her remix of Donna Summer's "Someday" on Disney's House of Mouse Dance Mixes, parts of her latest CD might want to make you wash your ears out with soap. It's exactly that raw. Aggressively sexy-but not violent-energy that makes her brand of rap, rave and computer morphed dance music irresistible to her devotees.

Not only has Funky Dumpling been busy with DJ Irene, but they have also slipped us a sneak preview of ESCAPE: St. Barth's. This CD is born of sand, surf, sun and seduction, Escape: St. Barth's will bring a decadent island vacation to you this winter. This provocative collection of vocal house grooves is talor made for low lit cocktail parties, lazy afternoons and surfside soirée's on the beach at the Caribbean's premiere destination.

Tommy Boy Entertainment is proud to announce the release of "TOUR DE BEATS", a brand new double disc compilation from everyone's favorite circuit party DJ, Tony Moran.

If you're looking for hard, sexy tribal beats and soaring diva vocals, then hop on board this party train fellas. Tony Moran is the conductor and as every true dance fan knows, Tony's tours are always a one-way trip to ANTHEM land! This continuously-mixed compilation mixes world-premiere remixes including Chad Jack's production of Vernessa Mitchell's "Took My Life", with exclusive unreleased productions like Kristine W's "I'll Be Your Light", and hard-to-find club favorites like Suzanne Palmer's "Luv 2 Luv" and Deborah Cox's summer smash "Easy As Life." This is great for party preparations and gift wrapping. It opens with a strong beat and keeps you moving until you are begging for more. The mastery of Mr. Moran's art is taken to new heights. The mixes are so smooth that I couldn't even tell some of them. This is a treat and a perfect gift for the dance aficionado.

Another great CD for the Holidays is Alison Krause. Rounder Records will release "Lonely Runs Both Ways", the first studio album in three years from Alison Krause and Union Station. This CD is such a great collection of easy listening songs. Lonely continues the band's long-time collaboration with engineer Gary Paczosa, and as with previous albums, Krauss shares lead vocals with Dan Tyminski (who sings on three tracks) and Ron Block who sings on one. Alison has sold in excess of 7 million albums in the U.S. Her contributions to blockbuster soundtracks such as "Cold Mountain" and "Oh Brother Where Art Thou?" have become touchstones for a widespread renaissance in American roots music.
