Chicago's Pizza
By Michael Pleasants

After a long fun night of bar-hopping, dancing, and partying, the last thing a slightly inebriated or highly intoxicated person wants to do, or should do, is cook. Not even microwave cooking. Once the clock strikes midnight, in-home dining is best done via delivery and one of the best places to fulfill this need is Chicago's Pizza. With four locations and delivery available until 5am every night of the week, Chicago's Pizza is arguably the most essential eatery on the northside of the city.

As befits its name, the signature menu items are the pizzas that come in thin crust, gourmet, and stuffed varieties. All are quite good, but in the early morning hours when you want your food delivered as fast as possible, it's best to stickwith the quick-to-cook thin crust or gourmet options. Even faster to make and deliver offerings include salads, appetizers (the chicken fingers are fantastic and come with a tasty honey mustard sauce), burgers, sandwiches, and desserts. The quality of the food that's delivered is consistently good, and better yet, the leftovers are still mighty tasty the next day. Or rather, later in the day.

Chicago's Pizza prides itself on being the best and quickest late night delivery option out there. They've actually had me wondering at times if use mobile kitchens given how fast the food is delivered after being ordered. It's this speedy delivery especially for those who hear the calls of their beds through the post-clubbing alcohol haze that has earned Chicago's Pizza a loyal following and a speed dial assignment on many a cell phone.
