Fiesta Mexicana, with 2 locations 2423 N. Lincoln and 4806 N. Broadway, either location you choose, will be orally gratifying. The festive decor and relaxing atmosphere take you south of the border. This charming eatery serves up authentic Mexican food in generous portions and drinks to match!
Lunch is served Monday through Friday from 11am to 3pm and you can have a filling lunch with a drink and get out for under $10.00. Fiesta Mexicana offers a wide variety of lunch specials, from Flautas to Fajitas and Chimichanga's to Chili Rellano.
After lunch you may want to take a siesta, because in the evening Fiesta Mexicana comes alive! Margarita Wednesday's at both locations, Thirsty Thursdays $15.00 open Bar at the Lincoln Avenue location with live entertainment Thursday through Sunday.
But I haven't mentioned anything about the food! Very authentic Mexican fare, but to start, you may want to try their delicious Ceviche. Civiche is a Marinated fish in lemon juice with onions, tomatoes, cilantro, and avocado chunks, served cold. For dinner, there are so many choices.
If you have a big appetite, you might want to order the complete dinner but you'd better be hungry. The Fiesta Chimis are very good, Four mini burritos (two beef and two chicken), deep-fried, served with guacamole, sour cream, and pico de gallo. Another dish I would recommend is Steak or Chicken Fajitas. Fiesta Mexicana's famous marinated strips of chicken or steak, served with grilled onions and green bell peppers, with guacamole, pico de gallo, refried beans and rice. No matter what you eat you can't go wrong. Look for the coupon for Fiesta Mexicana in this issue of BOI!
