Tell us about Steamworks fitness programs.

Steamworks has a 2,000 sq ft. gym packed with free weights and machines by Icarian, Ivanko, Maxicam, and StairMaster, and cardio equip by StairMaster, StarTrak, Precor and Schwinn .

We have a special coupon package available for our members. The "GymRat Pack" is designed for guys primarily interested in using the gym ­ but use of the coupon gives full access and use of all club facilities so you can get in your regular gym workout and still catch a good steam, sauna or maybe more before you head out.  Coupons come in books of 12 for $50 and 25 for $100 --- that works out to about $4 per coupon.  Each coupon is redeemed for up to 2 hours of club use and the guys must check in during 'normal gym hours" (M-F 6AM-8PM, Sat/Sun 8AM-6PM)

Our gym is more geared for guys who know what they are doing or already have a routine or a workout buddy, since we don't normally have a trainer on duty.  But there's some real friendly muscleheads and zero-attitude guys that train here regularly who are more than willing to spot a brother or pass on a workout tip if they think it'll help.

What are the features that separate you from other bathhouses?

Our gym is probably one of the most obvious differences.  It is well equipped, well maintained, and hardly ever do you have to wait to get on a piece of equipment. 

On the bathhouse side of it we not only have incredibly high standards for cleanliness but have a strong history of innovation (32 channels of in-house video, on-tap mouthwash, ample douche facilities, locking cabinets inside every room) and we have a low tolerance for bullshit.   We are a private club so we get to be somewhat selective about who we let it --- if a guy comes to our club and proves he doesn't know how to behave in a bathhouse, is disrespectful to other patrons or destructive to himself or the facilities ­ he doesn't get to come back.   We have put together a great facility at each of our locations and offer a great product and great services.  We want guys to have a good time --- guys that can't act responsibly and whose behavior ruins it for other guys need to go elsewhere.

I think STEAMWORKS has managed to provide the best of many worlds desirable in a bathhouse setting:

Clean, modern, comfortable surroundings

Well thought ­out facilities that are geared for your ease of use and enjoyment

An environment that has an innate sexual charge to it

A place where anything can happen, but nothing has to for you to have a good time

A safe place to meet guys and to explore your sexuality without rising taking some psycho home who might rip you off or hurt you or the dangers of playing in the park or public restroom where you might wind up getting arrested, mugged or worse.

What are the advantages of being a part of a chain?

The consistency in the quality of our facilities and service is a huge benefit.  It's almost wrong for someone to have their first bathhouse experience at a STEAMWORKS ­ cause guys get so spoiled right away ­ they think all baths are going to be like STEAMWORKS- and we all know that just isn't the case.  Once someone has been to a Steamworks they know they can go to any of our locations and expect a higher quality of service and facilities than what they will get anywhere else.  Also, our customers know that we reinvest heavily back into improving our facilities and into the communities where we do business.

Is there anything else you want our readers to know?

We're kinda like Las Vegas ---- what happens here, stays here.  If you're worried about 'being seen' at STEAMWORKS, remember, the only people who will see you here are other people who are here as well.  Always act responsibly and respectfully providing open and honest communication with your playmates.  If you're into totally anonymous/non-verbal sexual encounters, fine ­ then just assume EVERYONE you play with (regardless of where you meet them) is an HIVpositive/infected/disease carrying petrie dish of sexual fungus and conduct yourself accordingly.  Also remember, there's a lot more than HIV out there --- staph infections, bacteria, syphilis that can be transmitted through very casual contact person-to-person or person-to-contaminated surfaces (bathroom faucets, restaurant drinking glasses, etc.)
