Since its inception about a year and a half ago, the monthly themed NITRO parties at Circuit Night Club have become the premiere big room dance party events in Chicago. Presented by Nightlife Unlimited and produced by "visuwil", the NITRO parties are bold and explosive nightclubbing entertainment experiences that feature world class DJs, over-the-top stage performances, and highly-stylized visual concepts and décor. NITRO has been marketed to ALL Chicagoans and successfully brings a truly diverse crowd to the dance floor: gay, straight, or indifferent; male, female or indifferent. You name it, and it's at NITRO party, having fun. While each NITRO party has seemingly offered something new and unique, there have been several memorable highlights: the mechanical bull ride at the "Down On The Farm" event; appearances by international superstar DJs such as Junior Vasquez and Tony Moran; circus performers; and live animal acts INSIDE the club! And of course, the best continuing part of NITRO for many (ok, for me as well) is being greeted by Josh, who is without a doubt the best looking door man in the city. YUM! There are many individuals who have worked long and hard to make NITRO a success over the past 18 months. Here are just a few of the faces and names that make it a monthly "must do" event. Will Harrison When it comes to the bold and innovative visual concept, design, and execution of the NITRO parties, Harrison is the man in charge. Working tirelessly to make each NITRO event an optical delight, Harrison's Visuwil Creative Concepts design and event production company strives to deliver mesmerizing "outside-the-box" artistic work. Says Harrison, "I want to get people's ATTENTION!" Cyon Flare An integral part of the NITRO family, Cyon Flare brings vitality and a limitless amount of energy to the monthly proceedings - both on the stage as a performer and out amongst the crowd dancing on the dance floor. He truly is "the life of the party." And with his recording career taking off with the recent release of his dance single "Everybody Everybody" (Music Plant Recordings), Cyon's star is surely rising. Brian Covey This Boston native is a 10-year veteran of Chicago's nightclub industry, having tended bar over the years at Manhole and Hydrate and now moving behind the scenes as a manager at Circuit. Not ready just yet to retire his bottle opener for good, Covey maintains his NITRO "bartending residency" at Circuit's Bar #5. That's the corner rear bar in the VIP section of the club, where the highly educated Covey, who has an MBA degree, boasts of pouring a "mean shot of Jager." Peter Rauhofer This international superstar DJ/remixer/producer has musically presided over the most successful NITRO parties, including February's "Ice Ball" and last year's insanely popular "In the Garden of Good & Evil" event. As head honcho at the Star 69 record label and one of the most influential figures in the dance music industry, Rauhofer has been a global architect of the nightclubbing sound that moves dance floors around the world.
