Scott, who has been HIV positive for 21 years, is living life to the fullest. Working on the East coast all his life, Scott has settled in Florida and is now working with the website and real estate investing. As for now, Scott is encouraging people to not discriminate in the HIV positive community.

How do you personally look at having HIV in your life?
HIV has made me appreciate my family and my life much more. It has given
me more tolerance and respect for others

What would you tell someone who has been recently diagnosed with HIV?
Education is key! Educate yourself on treatment. Know your blood work and try to get into a mindset that this is a treatable disease like diabetes or high blood pressure. But education is the key. There are many groups and facilities that are in your area to help even if you can't afford it. Even a 12 step rule can put things in perspective.

Tell us about your website, poz4poz.net? How did it come about?
I found that it was time for a place for people with HIV didn't have to feel intimidated by other "sex sites"; however I have the diversity of education, links for doctors, friends, and of course sex.

What do you suggest for a realistic healthy lifestyle?
Enjoy yourself, but everything in moderation. Eat right, don't drink in excess, get plenty of rest and the most important thing is a good state of mind and listen to your doctor!

What else do you want our readers to know?
The most important thing is that HIV is a manageable disease and there are many of us out there. There are other people out there to share your lives with and I hope that I am creating that bridge to make that happen.
