A Heavenly Interview With The Bastard Son Of Boy George

By Tim McCanless

A former Executive aide to now Sate Senator Ferlo, Robbert J. brought to the table and helped passed "Boy George Day" in Pittsburgh on October 1st, 2001. Robbert then left the world of politics and started doing advertising for a gay bar, eventually moving into management. Since then Robbert J. has written, directed and produced seven videos of his own music and quite a repertoire of new and exciting material. Influenced by Boy George, David Bowie, Marilyn Manson and Eminem, this performer is sure to stimulate your every sense. I talked to Robbert, the reverend, and this is what he had to say.

Why Reverend?
Well, I was ordained in Ohio, but that changed real quickly. I decided that Christianity was the way to go and got married to a woman, had children, lived the life for 10 years and then decided to come out on the pulpit.

What makes you Undeniable?
Because I am! Even though I was stripped of my collar, I am still undeniable. I am still trying to spread a word. I am preaching about equality and sexual freedom.

You are still making political statements in your music, is it easier than it used to be?
Being in politics made me hate it, any position with power leads to corruption.

You do all your own production for audio and video, who would you like to work with in the future?
As far as musical production, Danny Elfman, is a God, as far as video Chris Cunnigham is a God too as a matter of fact they should work together and I should be the star

What would you like to do next?
I would realty like to get to a position to be heard about equality about sexual revolution, and inspire people to realize who they are and to be proud of that. I need a platform for that.

Tell us what you have in store for us att "The Flesh Hungry Dog Show" Friday, Aug. 19 at Jackhammer.?
I will be doing some new material about my children, along with my normal vulgar naughty self. You will just have to come and see the show.

What else do you want our readers to know?
