IML 2005

Another year and the party just keeps growing. The Renslow legacy of IML has a life of it's own. It's the celebration of leather and sexuality in all its kinky, perverted consensual forms and variations. It is the weekend of the rough side of life, no sissies here, I apologize, I shouldn't say that for even the most timid of men smells the leather, feels the heat, sweat and excitement. For the man who thinks he's sexually experience in the gay vanilla world, will be amazed at the celebration of the rough side of sex.

Leather men are not young man who want to dance the night away and but man who pay homage to masculinity, experienced man in the art of rough sex, control and submission. Who have honed their craft over time? No, leather does not discourage young men who know the calling within themselves, it welcomes them.

Leather men from all over the world descend on Chicago, for this celebration and to pick the next Mr. International Leatherman, buy leather, toys and party. IML transforms Chicago into a week long leather party that newcomers have fantasized about and regulars have waited for all year long.

Looking for a few places to go, There's Chuck Rodockers Touche's (in it's 27th year), Renslow's Eagle and Mans Country, HellFire Club, and of course the Bijou (where men meet men for dynamite sex). Go to any of the leather bars this weekend and you will see Tops (S) looking over the bottom (m) prospects, you will see a bottom approach a top who they want to play with, offering the top a beer. The top might say I don't play with little boys; the bottom may get down on his knees and kiss of lick the Tops boots, indicating he's not a little boy. Color hanky's are out in full force at IML you will notice them in the back pockets of men advertising up front ones sexual likes. There is no other week like IML week; Chicago is my kind of town.

Other events that weekend that add to the party Bear pride, Shabicon an event based on Japanese rope Bondage. On the straight side the parties and festivities will be held at the Dungeon clubs, The Leather Rose and Galleria Domain 2, they will be packed with SMer's from Illinois and the surrounding states to party and buy toys at the biggest and most extensive BDSM venders market in the world.

And like always, every year we have to thank Bill Stadt, IML coordinator, RJ (vender market) from RJ's video, of course Chuck Renslow and countless others for putting on this extravaganza. This years IML Market will be the biggest one yet, it will be held at the Hyatt Regency Chicago.
