The tradition of IML weekend is that of one big "Leather Family Reunion," filled with parties, socials, contest events and a host of opportunities to keep all of you busy and filled with good cheer. IML is that special time of the year to see old friends and, hopefully, make a few new ones too. Once again, our host hotel is the historic Palmer House Hilton. Some of you know that this choice venue is currently undergoing a major and detailed renovation project. We have been assured that their commitment to exceptional service and guest focus will not be anything less than their usual best. Although some of the renovations may cause some slight inconvenience as we go through the weekend, we also know you will understand and thank you in advance for your patience. IML is so many things to so many different people but one thing is for certain: It is a weekend like no otheranywhere. Between all of the events, parties and yes, the Vendor Market, it is the array of things to do, see and experience outside of the little world we create inside the host hotel. Ours is a city to truly be experienced first handwhether it be fine dining, museums, shopping and yes, our nightlife-especially up on the Northside! You might need more than time allows to explore our city, but we do invite you to get a feel for this vibrant place in the Heartland. Last year, IML
