World re-known interior designer and real estate developer Dann Foley recently opened his first retail showroom Dann Foley California in Palm Springs on April 20th. Dann Foley California showcases what's hot in custom upholstery, furnishings, lighting, and accessories.

Known for his fresh approach and inspired ability to set a trend, Dann has designed each of the stores vignettes with rich, vibrant color dynamically accented with his new lines of custom made one-of-a-kind pillows, picture frames, and scented candles. Although Dann has spent a great deal of time in Palm Springs recently with the opening of his new showroom, he has always had an infinity for Chicago as he was previously a resident and continues to do a variety of remodel and interior design projects in the Chicago Metropolitan Area. In fact, his work has been featured repeatedly in Chicago Home & Garden Magazine and will once again grace the cover of the January 2007 issue.

Dann took his design talents to new heights recently when he restored and re-designed both the interior and exterior of an Alexander home in the desirable Vista Las Palmas neighborhood of Palm Springs. Considered an Alexander masterpiece, this 1961 landmark was chosen for its cool lines and went through a major revival with an extreme attention to detail in craftsmanship of its marble, granite, dual glazed windows, and reeded glass interior doors. The home was featured on the 2006 Palm Springs Modernism Shows Realtor "Open House" tour and will be featured in an upcoming national edition of California Home & Design Magazine.

Aspirations this year also include expanding his new sensational signature line designed for the home and new retail stores with Chicago being at the top of the list.
