In an Interview with Mark Hunter this is what he had to say:

"What makes Hunters so successful?"
"I think it is all about our employees past and present. We at Hunters have been blessed with wonderful talent. From waiters, bar backs, bartenders, door staff, DJ's, lighting people, advertising people, all the way to our management. We have had and still have some of the most talented people in the business."

"What made you pick Elk Grove Village for Hunters?"
"I picked Elk Grove Village for Hunters because I knew the suburbs the best, being a suburban rat all my life. I realized there was a need for a bar in the suburbs."

"As you enter the 23rd year in business......any thoughts?"
"I had no idea that Hunters was gonna grow up and be this big, and last so long. I think one of the reasons that Hunters is so well know is because we are five minutes from the world headquarters of United Airlines. We get a lot of their employees and they spread the word around the world. Thank you United Airlines!"

"What is your favorite part about Hunters?"
"Being a part of it all. Hunters is a great place, if I may say so myself. I like being part of the events. Our staff and promotion department does a wonderful job. I've been hearing of some of the new ideas of a singles night, an underwear model search contest and for those who did not get to go to their High School prom with their dream date, we are planning a GAY PROM, (must be over 21 to go), On Memorial Day Weekend Saturday with our annual Lights-Out Party as the post prom.

"Where do you see Hunters in the Future?"
"Alive and Kicking!"

"Do you have any Dreams for the future?"
"I hope to have several more locations for Hunters in the USA"

"Hunters has another location?"
"Yes, Hunters Video Bar in Palm Springs California. It opened in August 1998. My brother Alan and I are Co-Owners. also with a great staff. Hunters Video Bar host great weekly and annual events, two of the best being part of the Palm Springs White Party, and the Halloween Street party."

In addition we would like to mention that Peter, Hunters current General Manager started at Hunters almost 22 years ago as a bartender and has held his current position for almost 7 years now. Peter is a great friend and mentor to many. Before that was General Manager, Michael Turker and before him was Marks late wife Marion.
