Well Kittens, Could it be? Is springtime actually here? Lets not count our little chicks before weve eaten our omelets. You will never know unless you write and ask Dear Daisy. You can do that simply by shooting an e-mail to Dear.Daisy@sbcglobal.net or the old pen and paper routine to BOI Magazine c/o Dear Daisy 3711 N. Ashland 2nd Floor Chicago, IL 60613. Now lets see what questions burn on the lips of the masses!

Dear Daisy,
My boyfriend has very low self-esteem, and it's starting to get on my nerves. I want a boyfriend who I can talk to about anything, that is, anything but suicide. He's always saying things like, "I suck at life." It's so bad that I just want to end the relationship --
but I don't want to hurt his feelings. I feel trapped. Daisy, do you have any suggestions?
Signed,
Not Feeling Groovy,

Dear Un-Groovy
Hmmm... Why, yes I do. Dump him. Criminy! How many times do I have to tell you chicken necks that having a boyfriend is not the only reason to exist. Contrary to popular belief, having a shitty ass boyfriend is not better than having no boyfriend. So what if your boyfriend has low self-esteem. So does everyone else. But when his low self-esteem starts making you feel bad and making you feel like you can't dump him, its emotional abuse. Jesus. Get it together, boys. For real, I am not trying to be a bitch but as I said we can all have low self esteem or we can pick ourselves up by our pump straps and be fabulous. Some days its easier than others believe me, but it can be done.

Dear Daisy,
I seem to be having a lot of difficulty untangling my long blond hair. It hurts like crazy every time, and I always end up yanking out half of my hairdo.
Signed,
Tina Tangle

Dear Tina,
The longer your hair is, the more time you'll have to spend washing, drying and detangling it. First, buy yourself a leave-in detangler. Be patient and start untangling your hair in small sections, starting at the bottom and slowly working your way up to the roots. I highly recommend using a wide-tooth comb; it's the best way to go about it
Keep in mind that your hair is more vulnerable to damage when it's wet; therefore, go about the untangling process once it's damp or dry. For more tips on keeping your detangling blond locks, you can always ask your mother or little sister or your pharmacist.

Dear Daisy,
I would like to know if there is such a thing as bean cream. I have been looking for it everywhere, even Michigan Avenue! I could not find any, but I'd just like to know if you've ever heard of it and know what or where it is

Dear No Name
Do you mean hummus?? I think you mean hummus.
