Israeli DJ Offer Nissim has been experiencing a meteoric rise in the dance scene as both a DJ and a music producer. Now, with the recent announcement that he will be co-headlining New York's biggest leather and fetish bash, The Black Party, it appears we can add circuit DJ to Nissim's impressive resume.

Offer Nissim first gained international recognition in 1998, when he won a Eurovision song contest with his hit song "Diva". The single hit the top of the charts all over the world. It also caught the attention of US DJ giant and Grammy Award winner, Peter Rauhofer, who signed the Israeli superstar to his American music label, Star 69.
Together, Nissim and Rauhofer released the young Israeli singer Maya Siman-Toy's dance floor smash, "That's The Way I Like It". Nissim and Maya have paired up on more songs since, including the 2004 hit, "Searching".
But it's the pairing of Nissim and Rauhofer that's making headlines today. The two titans will unite March 25th at NYC's famous Roseland Ballroom for the celebration of the Northern Hemisphere's vernal equinox, otherwise known as The Black Party.

Staying true to its roots as the world's largest S/M leather extravaganza, this year's theme, Schwarzwald, derives from the Black Forest area in Germany where Grimm's fairy tales Little Red Riding Hood and Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs emanate. While the modern day interpretations of these stories have been adapted as children's classics, at their core, the characters, settings and scenarios are much darker and more sinister providing an ideal backdrop for The Black Party.

The Grammy Award winner promises to infuse a dark, heavy, sexually charged musical odyssey into the first half of the night.

Then Nissim will take over and will shift gears with a lighter second half set signaling the transition from winter to spring. The party will also feature a performance by the female-to male transsexual, Buck Angel.

"It's going to be a sexy party," said Offer Nissim from his home in Israel. "Be prepared to party like you've never partied before."
