The list of DJs
who have worked at BOI Magazine or who have written for us is
a long one. Thus, as this is the annual Music Issue we thought
it only made sense to present a few Top 5 lists of DJs with past
or present BOI affiliations.

Freddie Bain
A pioneering Chicago DJ who helped start the original Boom Boom
Room at Red Dog back in the day, Bain has spun at just about
every bar and club of significance in the city throughout his
impressive DJing career, including G.L.E.E. Club @ Crobar; Foxy's
and its successor SPIN; and the long since shuttered Normandy.
Currently you can catch Bain spinning his house music magic
every Friday night at Cocktail.

Plez
The current BOI Music Editor, Plez has spun at various clubs
and bars in Chicago as well as at venues around the world in
Zurich, Montreal, Miami, and Washington DC. His style is a global
representation of house music, the seamless melding of classic,
disco, and jack house sub-genres with electro, progressive, and
tribal grooves. Presently he spins at Mary's Attic/Hamburger
Mary's on Saturdays and has a monthly residency in Milwaukee
with PUMP! @ Decibel Nightclub.

DJ Chris Eterno
Since his 1999 debut as a club DJ, Eterno has steadily worked
to become one of the city's most popular DJs as well as a Billboard
Magazine Club Chart Reporter. When he's in the DJ booth his
winning formula blends house, progressive and new dance music
that consistently delights the dance floors before him. His
busy current schedule finds him at SPIN on Fridays and every
other Wednesday, at Sound-Bar on Saturdays, and at Minibar on
Sundays.
