INDIANOLA
The Indianola is a unique, clothing optional "Polynesian Pop" retro 50's style Tiki resort, designed to accommodate the discriminating gay man in a bed and breakfast tradition.
Built in 1955 as the Indianola Lodge, the Indianola is a historic hotel, situated in a secluded niche of Palm Springs' exclusive Movie Colony district. The convergence of modern design, Hollywood glamour, and the desolate drama of the desert epitomize the architectural innovation that took place during this period. Indianola A Tiki Resort has captured all of the charm of this bygone era by blending collections and artifacts of the 50's with original furnishings from the Ritts Furniture Company designed for the Indianola Lodge in 1955.
