Well, in the mess of this wetness I am still able to use my super human powers to answer your questions. Why am I wet? Just write in to Dear Daisy 3708 N. Halsted St Chicago, IL 60613 or you can e-mail me at Dear.Daisy@sbcglobal.net. I will teach you everything you need to know. Now let's see what's on your mind!!

Dear Daisy,
What kind of government does Poland have?
What is the name of their money?
There doesn't seem to be much information on Poland. Can you help?

Dear One-of-many-anonymous-readers:
Can I help? CAN I HELP?!? I wonder if Freud ever had a patient of his lying there on his couch and wonder aloud if Freud could help. Then again, Freud wasn't some no-name magazine advice columnist who probably wouldn't have a college degree if it weren't for the little extra "tuition" he paid to that student assistant in the admissions office (if you know what I mean). Okay, I'm feeling generous today, and to appease those of you viewers who think I never actually give out any information, I'll answer your two questions: constitutional democracy and zloty. And another word of advice: if you are really seeking more information on Poland, try your local library... they have lots of books, and some of them even mention Poland!

Dear Daisy,
Can you tell me why Elvis Presley's middle name is spelled wrong on the headstone of his grave?
DeLynn

Dear DeLynn,
No. My therapist says that admitting my lack of knowledge moves me closer to being God-like. Or maybe that's dog-like. I dunno... I never listen to him anyway

Dear Daisy,
I am setting up my first saltwater fish tank, and I need to know which is better; well water or city water. I'm sure you are very knowledgeable on this subject, as with all.
A fish called Wanda

Dear fish,
I once mixed together some vinegar and baking soda in my mouth, and when I started foaming at the mouth I ran to my mom yelling, "Ma! A big dog bit me!" She didn't think it was funny. And that, in itself, is the answer to the question: neither. As Daisy Mae Laboratories understands it, city water contains chlorine and fluoride, as well as potentially many other human added chemicals that are poisonous to most fish. Well water, while closer to the natural state most fish live in, could also be contaminated by nearby chemical runoff. To properly ensure your fish tank doesn't turn in to a fish death row, use purified water. Your fish thank you.

Dear Daisy,
A man walks into the welfare office to see if he can receive welfare money. The social worker says he must have the ages of his three children. The man says the product of his children is 36. The worker says he needs more info. The man looks out the window and says the sum of his children is the same as the house number across the street. The worker says he still needs more info. The man says his oldest child likes chocolate. What are the ages of his children?

Dear math whiz,
And I ask: "If a hen-and-a-half can lay an egg-and-a-half in a day-and-a-half, how long would it take for a monkey with a wooden leg to kick the seeds out of a dill pickle?"

Dear Daisy,
How can an airplane fly? what causes it to fly and what effects its flying?

Dear Sir or Madam,
If you take an airplane wing and look at its cross-section, you'll notice that it is flat on the bottom and curved on the top. When the air moving across the wing hits these surfaces; the air traveling along the top surface moves faster than the air moving along the bottom surface, causing a small high pressure zone under the wing. This keeps the plane in the air.

There are many things that affect the flight of an airplane. Turbulence, air temperature and drag affect the plane, but not quite like a dozen martinis in the pilot.
